Woman Stabs Boyfriend for “Eating All of the Salsa”: Cops

An Ohio woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend multiple times — first with a pen, then a knife — on Sunday because he had been "eating all of the salsa," according to a police report, NBC News reported. Phyllis Jefferson, 50, stabbed Ronnie Buckner, 61, with a pen after she started yelling about how much salsa he had eaten, the report said. Jefferson then knocked over Buckner's TV, and as he caught it from falling, she grabbed a small kitchen knife and stabbed him in the stomach, according to the report. Jefferson fled the scene before police arrested her on an interstate highway; she has been charged with felonious assault and criminal damaging, police said. Buckner was rushed to medical care with non-life-threatening injuries.
